Pecorino con Zafferano
A fresh pecorino cheese with a short maturation period and a wonderful golden yellow colour obtained by adding a rich dose of fine saffron produced in the Val D’Orcia park. Its paste is soft and compact, its aroma enveloping and its flavour sweet and aromatic. The characteristic and intense colour of this pecorino makes it particularly suitable as an appetiser or to compose an appealing chopping board. Excellent for preparing tasty pasta or rice dishes, it also pairs perfectly with spicy dishes, honey and dried fruit.
